Yes. Trigger Talent provides Illinois State Police-compliant concealed carry training that satisfies the educational requirements for obtaining your Illinois Concealed Carry License.
Yes. We offer Illinois Concealed Carry Renewal Classes that satisfy the state’s renewal training requirements.
Application processing times vary. Students who submit fingerprints often receive their license faster than applicants who do not. Current processing times are determined by the Illinois State Police.
Students should bring a valid government-issued photo ID, note-taking materials, eye and ear protection, and their firearm and ammunition for the range portion if applicable. Additional instructions are provided upon registration.
Yes. The Illinois Concealed Carry course includes the required live-fire qualification conducted under the supervision of certified instructors and range officers.
While having your own firearm is beneficial, students who do not own a handgun may contact us before class to discuss available options for training and qualification.
No. Our classes are designed for all experience levels, including first-time handgun owners. Our instructors provide a safe and comfortable learning environment where beginners can build confidence and skills.
Illinois requires a 16-hour Concealed Carry License training course for most applicants. The course includes classroom instruction, firearm safety, Illinois laws, and a live-fire qualification.
To obtain an Illinois Concealed Carry License (CCL), you must complete a state-approved 16-hour training course, submit an application through the Illinois State Police, provide fingerprints (optional but recommended), and meet all eligibility requirements. Trigger Talent provides the required training and guides students through the process.
